So, what are indoor varifocals?

Back in business after our burst pipe disaster

After suffering flood damage in our Monkseaton premises on Christmas Eve, we worked hard to meet our customer commitments and retain our usual level of service. Thanks to Steve Morris and his team, we were able to open as normal on 2nd Jan 2013.

It has really made us appreciate the environment in which we work every day, and appreciate the patience and support of our wonderful patients!

We have survived the Great Burst Pipe Calamity of 12th December and are running as normal until 22nd December.

For 1 week after this we will be open for booking appointments, collections etc. However a great deal of damage was sustained to the wooden flooring and carpets which means that we we will be unable to undertake any examinations during this week whilst emergency repair work is undertaken.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

Thank you to all our patients, staff, and friends for all your support. We are delighted to have been named as National Independent Practice of the Year for the 2nd time in 3 years. Six of the team travelled to The London Park Lane Hilton for what turned out to be a spectacular event. The evening was hosted by TV comic Tim Vine, whose one line laughter had tears rolling down everyone’s cheeks. The awards held at the Newcastle Mariott Hotel, Gosforth were a triumph for north east enterprise.
