Nigel & Judith visit Hoya Lens Manufacturer
Nigel and Judith have just returned from a visit to lens manufacturer Hoya, in Bangkok.
Here they were able to witness first hand the new technology that goes into making the very latest “low distortion” varifocals. The plant also uses the revolutionary ” Blue control” coatings for protection against HEV, High Energy Visual Rays (the radiation emitted by computer screens and often responsible for visual fatigue).
“We had an amazing time as guests of Hoya, and were fascinated by the whole Hoya set up in Bangkok. We were shown around by Mr Kudos, chief executive of Hoya Thailand, who couldn’t have been more helpful. We certainly hope that we can pass on our new found knowledge to our UK glasses wearers” comments Nigel.
